We are pleased to announce we’ve added three new associates to its team: Cody Bilgrien, Gerardo Ortega and Harris Shain.
Cody Bilgrien focuses his practice on corporate and securities law. This involves counseling corporations and individuals on securities law issues, preparing registration statements, and negotiating business agreements and transactions. Prior to joining the firm, he served as an attorney at the Division of Securities of the Florida Office of Financial Regulation and as a Law Clerk for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
He received a Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law and an undergraduate degree in political science and legal studies from UMass Amherst.
Gerardo Ortega is a member of the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group focusing on commercial real estate transactions, leasing and financing. He is a member of The Florida Bar, Real Property and Commercial Real Estate Divisions; and the Palm Beach County Bar Association. Prior to joining the firm, he was an associate attorney at Manzo & Associates in Orlando.
He received a Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law with a certificate in Transactional Law. He also earned an undergraduate degree in business administration and management from Nova Southeastern University.
Harris Shain works in the firm’s Corporate and Business Transactions Practice Group. He regularly advises public and private companies and entrepreneurs across a broad range of industries including hospitality, sports and technology. He previously worked as an associate at Malek Moss PLLC in West Palm Beach.
He earned a Master of Law from University of Miami School of Law in 2016, JD from University of Arizona’s James E Rogers College of Law, and an undergraduate degree in history and political science from McGill University.
