Christina Ahrens is an attorney at Nason Yeager, where her practice focuses on securities and corporate law, with a particular emphasis on advising public companies, hedge funds, and other investment entities on Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) compliance. She regularly counsels clients on SEC reporting and registration statements, including Forms 8-K, 10‑Q, 10-K, Schedule 13-Ds, Forms 3 and 4, Form 10, Proxy and Information Statements, and other filings, as well as on broader corporate governance and regulatory matters. Mrs. Ahrens also advises public and private companies on mergers and acquisitions, capital raises including S-1, S-3, and private placement offerings, entity formation, and general business transactions.
Before joining the firm, Mrs. Ahrens practiced at a boutique law firm in Tallahassee, Florida, where she represented financial institutions and their acquirers nationwide. Her work included regulatory compliance, M&A, securities offerings, and corporate governance. While in law school, Mrs. Ahrens clerked at a national firm, where she supported the securities litigation and government relations teams—gaining experience representing clients in matters involving government regulators.
Mrs. Ahrens earned her J.D., with honors, from Florida State University College of Law in 2020, where she earned the Business Law Certificate, the Professional Development Certificate, and the Law and Justice Certificate. She received her B.A. in English, along with an honors medallion, from Florida State University in 2017.
Outside the office, Mrs. Ahrens enjoys spending time with her husband, Jack, and their cocker spaniel, Cinderella. She’s an avid reader, a theme park enthusiast, and loves board games and creative writing.
