Kyle C. Horth is an attorney in the firm’s corporate, tax and estate planning departments where he focuses his practice on providing effective counsel to individuals and businesses on a range of corporate, tax and transactional matters, including entity formation and funding, mergers and acquisitions, tax structures and other complex business transactions. Mr. Horth concentrates his trusts and estates practice on estate planning, trust and probate administration, federal income, estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer taxation.
Mr. Horth earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of Central Florida prior to receiving his J.D. and Tax LL.M. from the University of Florida. While in law school, Mr. Horth participated in multiple co-curricular activities and served as the Senior Research Editor for the Florida Journal of Law and Public Policy, a member of the UF Tax Moot Court Team and participated in numerous competitions, including the 2014 Albert R. Mugel National Tax Moot Court Competition. Mr. Horth also volunteered his time to make a difference in the Gainesville community by assisting families in preparing and submitting their tax returns through the IRS’ Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) and Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE) Programs.
In his free time, Mr. Horth enjoys spending time with his friends and family, outdoor activities such as fishing, boating, golfing, physical fitness, and connecting with other young professionals and business leaders in the community.
