Briana Reed is an attorney at Nason Yeager where she is a member of the securities practice group. She assists clients in complying with periodic reporting requirements enforced by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as well as preparation and review of filings reviewed by the SEC.
Ms. Reed earned her Juris Doctor degree from Liberty University School of Law in May 2022. During her time at Liberty University School of Law, she served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Liberty University Law Review, where she demonstrated exceptional leadership and organizational skills. Briana was also an active member of the Student Bar Association, serving as Vice President.
Ms. Reed’s legal career began as she gained valuable experience in various legal roles. She served as a Law Clerk at the Florida Fourth District Court of Appeal in West Palm Beach, FL, where she conducted thorough legal research, and analyzed case law.
Ms. Reed also gained hands-on experience as a Legal Intern at Darkhorse Law, PLLC, where she drafted discovery documents, conducted legal research on various matters, and contributed to the preparation of demand letters.
Prior to her legal studies, Ms. Reed completed her Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Psychology at Otterbein University in Westerville, OH, in December 2018, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
In addition to her practical experience, Briana Reed is a published author, with her note titled “Color Monopoly: How Trademarking Colors in the Fashion Industry and Beyond Expands the Lanham Act’s Purpose and Policy” featured in the 15th volume of the Liberty University Law Review in 2021 and the 2022 edition of the Thomson Reuters Intellectual Property Law Review.
