Gabrielle Olivieri Sliwka is an associate attorney at Nason Yeager. She is a graduate of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (B.A. 2007) and the University of Minnesota Law School (J.D. 2018). Gabrielle was admitted to the Minnesota State Bar and the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota in 2018, and the Florida State Bar in 2020.
While in law school, Gabrielle was a certified student attorney as well as student director at the Bankruptcy Clinic, assisting low-income clients in filing for Chapter 7. Mrs. Sliwka also was a student director at the International Moot Court, serving as vice-president on the board of the Latino Law Student Association, treasurer at Law Council, and a representative at the Diversity Committee.
Gabrielle joined Gustafson Gluek PLLC as an associate in August 2018, representing clients in a series of complex class-action cases. Most notably, Gabrielle represented a class of restaurant and healthcare centers that purchased chicken at artificially inflated prices for use in their businesses in In re Broiler Chicken Antitrust Litigation, (N.D. III.). This nationwide class action seeks to recover millions of dollars in overcharges from 18 defendants for their conspiracy to limit the supply of chickens by killing hens early and destroying eggs. Gabrielle has also participated in the Pro Se Project, representing civil litigants who would otherwise go without representation.
Gabrielle is fluent in Portuguese and English and has basic language skills in Italian and Spanish.
