He is a Florida Supreme Court-certified mediator and holds certification in Environmental Negotiation and Policy from Harvard Law School. He formerly served for the United States Justice Department, Environmental and Natural Resources Division, and as the General Counsel of the South Florida Water Management District.
Brian C. Hickey is a shareholder at the firm. His practice encompasses a range of areas, including real estate acquisition and development, where he represents local, state, national owners, and developers in the sale, purchase, financing, due diligence review, land planning, and development of various properties such as residential, self-storage, warehouse, commercial, office, gas station, mixed-use, industrial, and office-condominium properties. In real estate leasing, he represents landlords and tenants at the local, state, and national levels in all aspects of ground, office, medical, retail, gas station, and residential leasing. His expertise also extends to construction contracts, where he prepares and negotiates contract documents for the design, construction, and management of residential and commercial projects. Additionally, he is involved in land development, preparing and negotiating various land planning and use documents, including declarations of covenants, access agreements, wetland agreements, and easements. In the corporate arena, he prepares and negotiates business and corporate contracts, including operating agreements and asset purchase agreements.
Nathan E. “Nat” Nason is an Of Counsel at Nason Yeager. He has practiced complex commercial litigation for over 25 years in South Florida. He has also developed substantial environmental practices. He is AV Rated by Martindale-Hubbell and a member of the Florida Bar. He is active in several community groups including: The Palm Beach County Bar Association, West Palm Beach Rotary Club and was a previous member of the Palm Beach County Environmental Appeal Board and Chair of the Northern Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce in 2014-2015.
Gary Walk, shareholder, practices real estate, business, and banking law. His work includes purchases and sales of commercial and residential real estate, real estate debt and equity financing, leasing of real estate, formation of business entities, purchases and sales of businesses and ownership interests in businesses, negotiation and drafting of contracts and general representation of for profit and not for profit entities. Mr. Walk is a Board Certified Real Estate Lawyer. He is active in several community groups, including as President of Crystal Pointe Homeowners’ Association, board member and former President of Palm Beach County Regional Office of American Jewish Committee, board member and former Chair of Hillel of Broward and Palm Beach, former Chair of the Jewish Community Relations Council of Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County and board member and Secretary of the Center for Family Services of Palm Beach County.
Kyle C. Horth, attorney, focuses on the firm’s corporate, tax and estate planning departments where he provides effective counsel to individuals and businesses on a range of corporate, tax and transactional matters, including entity formation and funding, mergers and acquisitions, tax structures and other complex business transactions. Mr. Horth concentrates his trusts and estates practice on estate planning, trust and probate administration, federal income, estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer taxation.
