Palm Beach Gardens, FL – March 16, 2021 – The law firm of Nason Yeager Gerson Harris & Fumero recently donated $5,000 to the Palm Beach County Food Bank (PBCFB). PBCFB is committed to being a strong leader for the other stakeholders and organizations that join them in addressing the issues surrounding hunger in Palm Beach County.
Nason Yeager shareholder John Fumero is on the Board of Directors for the PBCFB.
“When the coronavirus crisis ends in America, the hunger crisis will continue.” Fumero said. “With the upcoming opening of our new warehouse and distribution capabilities, PBCFB is laser-focused on assisting those in need in our community”
PBCFB is focused on fighting hunger in Palm Beach County through four programs: Food Recovery & Distribution, Marjorie S. Fisher Nutrition Driven, Food 4 Our Kids, and Benefits Outreach. They support close to 200 partner agencies in Palm Beach County with food, programs, resources and services.
When the COVID-19 pandemic affected thousands of residents in Palm Beach County, more families and individuals were left not knowing where they would get their next meal. By the end of the fiscal year, the Food Bank’s annual distribution doubled to almost 11 million pounds of food to nearly 200 partner agencies.
The organization is busier than ever and successfully met the Grow with Us Capital Campaign fundraising goal of $3 million to move to a new 28,000-square-foot building. The new facility will meet the needs to expand all operations and continue to alleviate hunger in Palm Beach County.
Nason Yeager is proud to support this incredible organization.
