Nathan E. “Nat” Nason has been appointed to Palm Healthcare Foundation’s board of trustees. He will oversee the charitable missions of the foundation, including asset management, grant-making and fund development.
The mission of the Palm Healthcare Foundation is to inspire and fund solutions to improve health in Palm Beach County. Palm Healthcare Foundation strives to bring people together to create ways of inspired giving and thoughtful funding to generate lasting change for our community’s most complex healthcare challenges. The Foundation convenes stakeholders, listening carefully to their needs and ideas, engaging passionate philanthropists to give support, and provides funding to generate change. The foundation has invested more than $70 million to support more than 100 local organizations.
Nason, a shareholder in the law firm of Nason, Yeager, Gerson, White and Lioce, P.A., has practiced complex commercial litigation and environmental law for over 30 years. He received his B.S. in finance from Florida State University and his J.D. from Duke University, where he graduated with honors. Over his career, Nat has procured numerous multi-million dollar judgments and settlements. He is rated “AV” by the independent lawyer rating service Martindale Hubbell, which is its top rating.
Nason strongly believes that we should all give something back to the community. He has volunteered countless hours of community service, and is both a former Chairman of the Northern Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce and a past president of the West Palm Beach Rotary Club.
