For the second year in a row, shareholder Nathan “Nat” Nason has been named in the 2020 list of Best Lawyers. Nason was selected by his peers for recognition in the 26th Edition of The Best Lawyers in America© for his work in: Litigation- Land Use and Zoning. He made the list last year for the same practice group. Recognition by Best Lawyers® is based solely on reviews from peers in the legal industry. According to the Best Lawyers® website: Best Lawyers employs a sophisticated, conscientious, rational, and transparent survey process designed to elicit meaningful and substantive evaluations of the quality of legal services. Our belief has always been that the quality of a peer review survey is directly related to the quality of the voters.
The process begins with a nomination. Those nominations are then divided by location and practice areas, and are evaluated by peers on the basis of professional expertise. Those who receive high reviews undergo an authentication process to ensure they are currently practicing law and are in good standing. For the 2020 Edition of The Best Lawyers in America, 8.3 million votes were analyzed, which resulted in the inclusion of more than 62,000 lawyers, or approximately 5% of lawyers in private practice in the United States.
Nason has practiced complex commercial litigation for over 25 years in South Florida and has developed substantial land use and environmental practices. He is AV Rated by Martindale-Hubbell and a member of the Florida Bar. He is active in several community groups including: The Palm Beach County Bar Association, West Palm Beach Rotary Club and was a previous member of the Palm Beach County Environmental Appeal Board and Chair of the Northern Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce in 2014-2015.
