Jeffrey M. Garber is a shareholder and member of the firm’s commercial litigation practice group. Mr. Garber concentrates his practice in the area of commercial and business litigation (in both federal and state courts), with a focus on real estate and corporate litigation. He also handles:
- Business/corporate disputes
- Banking litigation (including loan defaults, foreclosures, and garnishments)
- Community association (homeowners’ and condominium) matters
- Evictions (residential and commercial)
- Fair Housing Act disputes
- Employment/labor disputes
- Insurance coverage disputes
- Non-compete disputes
- Trade secret protection
- Americans with Disabilities Act (Article III) actions
Mr. Garber’s practice includes a variety of transactional work, including drafting and reviewing commercial contracts such as non-compete, confidentiality, license, and lease agreements. He provides general counsel for business clientele on a wide variety of issues, including general business matters.
Mr. Garber’s clients include corporate clients ranging from small and middle market businesses to Fortune 500 companies, as well as individual clients involved in commercial matters and litigation.
His legal career began in New York where he practiced law for several years before relocating to Florida.
In his free time, Jeff is a drummer whose musical career has included studio work and playing in various bands.
