Jack Sibel is an attorney at Nason Yeager who practices corporate and transactional law.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Sibel practiced law for a year with an international sporting event company based in South Florida, where he drafted license, purchase, rental, sponsorship, creative production, and master service agreements, negotiated influencer agreements, launched an online retail store, and executed all promotions, contests, sweepstakes, giveaways, and related matters.
He graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts in political science and a minor in history in 2020. Later that year, Mr. Sibel enrolled in the University of Miami School of Law on a Dean’s Merit Scholarship and earned his J.D. with cum laude honors and LL.M. in sports and entertainment law.
During law school, Mr. Sibel worked for a Fortune 500 company based in Miami, clerked for a prominent boutique litigation firm, and served as an in-house legal intern for a Miami professional sports team.
Additionally, Mr. Sibel’s accomplishments and extracurriculars included serving as a teaching assistant for Professor Peter Carfagna’s classes, winning the University of Miami School of Law Basketball Negotiation Competition, co-authoring an article published in Sports Litigation Alert about the PGA / LIV litigation titled “The University of Miami School of Law Explores the Issues Surrounding LIV Golf, The PGA Tour, and the Future of Professional Golf,” and receiving the Dean Patricia D. White Entertainment, Arts, and Sports Law Scholarship.
Mr. Sibel originally is from Baltimore, Maryland. He is a member of the Florida Bar.
