Keith L. Williams is an attorney at Nason Yeager Gerson Harris & Fumero, P.A., where he is a member of the environmental, governmental and land use practice group. Mr. Williams focuses his practice on eminent domain, land use, zoning, land development, and environmental permitting matters. Throughout the state of Florida, he represents both private and public sector clients, including municipalities, counties, developers, and agricultural landowners, in complex litigation, permitting, and regulatory compliance.
Mr. Williams has more than 25 years of experience handling environmental and real property matters in state and federal courts, as well as before the Florida Division of Administrative Hearings. He brings significant governmental and regulatory experience. His background includes serving as Senior Attorney for the South Florida Water Management District, Senior Assistant General Counsel for the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, and Assistant County Attorney for Palm Beach County.
In private practice, Mr. Williams has counseled national companies, local governments, and private landowners in matters involving permitting, compliance, cannabis law, and environmental law matters . He is also a frequent lecturer and author on topics such as Clean Water Act litigation, regulatory takings, and Florida eminent domain law.
Mr. Williams earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida College of Law, where he also completed the International Law Program at Rijksuniversiteit Leiden in the Netherlands. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Florida.
