Laura S. Olympio Adds Experience in Permitting and Regulatory Compliance Matters

Nason Yeager Gerson Harris & Fumero, P.A. is pleased to announce that attorney Laura S. Olympio has joined the firm’s Environmental, Governmental & Land Use team, further strengthening its capabilities in environmental, land use, and regulatory law.
Olympio represents corporate, individual, and governmental clients in complex permitting, compliance, administrative, and land use matters. Her practice focuses on environmental resource permitting, consumptive use permitting, and regulatory issues involving agencies such as the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Florida’s water management districts, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. She also represents clients in front of the Division of Administrative Hearings on a variety of litigation matters.
“Laura’s experience in environmental and administrative law, along with her strong understanding of regulatory processes, will be a real asset to our team,” said John Fumero, Shareholder and Chair of the Environmental, Governmental & Land Use Practice Group. “She brings a practical approach to helping clients navigate complex regulatory issues.”
Olympio earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami and her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Central Florida. She is admitted to practice in Florida, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
A Palm Beach County native, Laura, is also active member of the community. She’s involved in multiple legal associations and spends her time volunteering with various non-profits.
