Nason Yeager Gerson Harris and Fumero, P.A., a full-service law firm, announces the addition of attorneys Susan Roeder Martin and Constantine Christakis to its list of shareholders.
Susan Roeder Martin is board certified in State and Federal Government and Administrative Practice by the Florida Bar and has practiced environmental and governmental law for over 35 years, formerly as a Practice Expert Attorney with the South Florida Water Management District and earlier as a corporate attorney and Congressional Lobbyist with Florida Power and Light Company. She is located in the firm’s St. Peterburg office.
Susan handles a wide range of environmental issues representing clients throughout the state of Florida, including permitting and permit challenges, enforcement, mitigation banks, submerged and sovereign lands, litigation, mediation, congressional lobbying, and appeals. She is the past chair of the Environmental and Land Use Law Section (ELULS) of the Florida Bar and the editor of the ELULS column in the Florida Bar Journal. She frequently publishes and speaks on environmental law and regulation topics, including Florida Bar Journal articles and treatises in the ELULS treatise. She is a Supreme Court Board Certified mediator and a LEED accredited environmental professional by the U.S. Green Building Council. Her commitment to excellence is reflected in her AV Preeminent rating by Martindale Hubbell, the highest rating an attorney can earn from their peers.
Constantine Christakis practices securities and corporate law and has gained a wealth of experience at Nason Yeager. His practice encompasses advising both publicly traded and privately held entities in capital raising and acquisition transactions, as well as securities compliance matters under federal and state securities laws. Mr. Christakis is well-versed in guiding clients through the regulatory landscape overseen by securities regulators including the Securities and Exchange Commission, The Nasdaq Stock Market, The New York Stock Exchange, and the OTC Markets Group. Additionally, he assists clients with general corporate and commercial matters, mergers and acquisitions and in planning, structuring, and negotiating various business transactions and related contracts.
