Palm Beach Gardens, FL – May. 22, 2023 – Recently, Susan Martin provided two presentations at the 2023 Florida Association of Environmental Professionals (FAEP) annual symposium in Tallahassee. The first presentation was about the clean waterways act rule making, and the second was on water quality banks.
“It was truly an honor to speak at the Florida Association of Environmental Professionals annual symposium,” said Susan Martin. “My goal is to be a knowledgeable source of information within the community.”
FAEP’s mission is to bring together a diverse coalition of environmental activists, both within the public and private sector, and create a forum in which state-of-the-art environmental planning, research, and management is advanced.
Susan Roeder Martin practices environmental and administrative law for a multitude of different clients including developers, mitigation banks, public entities, and others. She has practiced law for almost 40 years, formerly as a “practice expert attorney” with the South Florida Water Management District and earlier as a corporate attorney and Lobbyist with Florida Power and Light. Ms. Martin is Board certified. She is also a Supreme Court certified mediator and LEED accredited professional. She is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell. She is a frequent author and speaker throughout the state on environmental law. She served as the Chair of the Environmental and Land Use Law section of the Florida Bar and was the founding member of the Florida Bar’s Environmental Resiliency Committee. She is also a Board Member of the Florida Association of Environmental Professionals.
