Nason Yeager shareholder Susan Roeder Martin, has been recognized in the 2024 Florida Trend Legal Elite Notable Women Leaders in Law. This honor recognizes those who have demonstrated leadership in professional organizations and civic and community service initiatives, mentorship of other attorneys, and promotion of professional practices and values in the workplace.
Ms. Martin helps to lead the firm’s State and Federal Government and Administrative Practice. She has handled a wide range of environmental issues, including permitting and permit challenges, enforcement, mitigation banks, litigation, mediation, congressional lobbying, and appeals.
She also has participated in the drafting and adoption of environmental resource permit rules. For most of her career, Martin has provided public service as an attorney with the South Florida Water Management District. Also, she is a Supreme Court-certified mediator.
