
Nason Yeager Gerson Harris & Fumero, P.A., a full-service Florida law firm, announced that Amina M. Hafez has been promoted to shareholder, effective January 1, 2026.
With more than two decades of experience, Hafez is a member of the firm’s Corporate Department, where she advises clients on complex business transactions and legal matters across a broad range of industries, including financial services, private equity, healthcare and technology. Her practice spans commercial contracts, employment-related matters, mergers and acquisitions, private securities and bank financings, real estate transactions and corporate governance.

In addition to her corporate transactional work, Hafez regularly advises art galleries, startups, nonprofits and high-net-worth individuals. She is experienced in forming and operating businesses and nonprofits, establishing joint ventures and guiding clients through organizational separations and transitions.

Prior to joining Nason Yeager, Hafez held senior legal and strategic leadership roles at global financial institutions. Most notably, she served as Chief Operating Officer of the Global Corporate Strategy group at Bank of America, where she advised on investment strategy, regulatory initiatives, and complex technology and intellectual property transactions.
Hafez is admitted to practice in Florida, New York, California, Illinois, Tennessee and Texas. She also holds certifications in U.S. and European data privacy law (CIPP/US and CIPP/E). She earned her J.D./M.B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law and College of Business in Champaign, Illinois, and has a B.S. in Accountancy from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Hafez was also a Fulbright Scholar in Germany.
