On April 24, 2020, Congress enacted the Paycheck Protection Program and Health Care Enhancement Act (Act), which adds $310 billion in funding for the Small Business Administration’s Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). The Act infuses these funds a week after the PPP’s original funding of $349 billion was depleted. The Act also adds an additional $60 billion in funding to the Small Business Administration’s Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program.
